For this I’ve helped a PHD candidate by guiding children in the use of the research tool during their technology class, this was done once a week for two months. 

Doing this gave me a clearer image of the different things that come into play when doing an in depth study, such as data handling/privacy and dealing with the practical and unforeseen aspects of doing field research.
