This project consists out of two parts, the first one is
about design research, exploring how technology
could be used in urban food forest in order to
connect citizens with nature, based on a report created
by Wageningen University and Research. The other
part is about a newly created method called
Constructive Intuitive Inquiry, which is based on
Rosemarie Anderson’s method of Intuitive inquiry this
method was eventually expressed in a research
paper. The open exploration of technology in the urban
food forest resulted in a research archetype called
intuit, which gives users unobtrusive hints for exploring
aspects of an urban food forest. A conceptual change
occurred which shifted the research from focusing on
affectively connecting people with nature, to focusing on
educating people through experiences with
nature.
